Poon Kok Hoong - BH.Sc (Physiotherapy) ; Masters In Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning)

Poon Kok Hoong is the Head Physiotherapist at the Asian Golf Fitness Institute.

Graduated with Merit in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore in 2001. He was also the recipient of the Ministry of Health Gold Medal and the Changi General Hospital prize for Best Clinical Education (Physiotherapy) in the same year.

In 2002, he obtained his Bachelors of Health Science (Physiotherapy) degree from the University of Sydney.

With 2 years of clinical experience at Singapore General Hospital and active involvement in providing physiotherapy coverage for rugby teams in both local and interschool championships, he has acquired expertise in the management of sports and spinal injuries.

Has a special interest in golf related injuries and has undergone an exchange attachment with the Melbourne Golf Injury Clinic, learning from world recognised Physiotherapist in the field, Ramsay McMaster.

Attended courses and conferences both locally and overseas to update himself with the latest knowledge in Physiotherapy.

He obtained Masters in Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning) in Edith Cowan University, Western Australia.

Joyce Tham - BH.Sc (Physiotherapy) ;

Joyce holds a “Diploma in Physiotherapy”, from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore (2001); and “Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy)” degree from University of Sydney (2004)

For the past years, she has been actively involved in the field of spinal pain and injuries management.

She is constantly upgrading herself with courses and workshops, to improve patient care.

Lim Khim Chwee – Dip in Physiotherapy

Khim Chwee has been pursuing his interest in geriatric and neurology since his graduation in 2002.

With 8 years of experience working in public hospital, he is exposed to wide range of conditions from neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, general deconditioning and respiratory conditions.

Knowing the health issues arising from Singapore’s aging population, he concentrates his attention on homebased rehabilitation for clients who have difficult travelling to hospital.

In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and reading to keep in touch with the latest happenings in health care and the world.

 

Pauline Lim - Sports massage therapist

Pauline Lim is one of the most sought after sports massage therapist among endurance athletes, pain sufferers from corporate executives to heartland homemakers. She build her experiences on demanding sportsman and patients with chronic pain disorders. Pauline is qualified and certified in TCM massages by ChengDu University TCM, and Sports Massage By SMTI, USA by Dr Mykk. She also went through rigorous training in AMG Therapy and Medical College.

Pauline regularly heads the team and supervise on site massage for sports events such as Aviva Ironman ('08-'11), Sundown Marathons, Nike's runs, Mizuno's Runs, Passion Run, Real Run, Standchart (Pacer's Booth), Great Eastern Run (VIP's Lounge), New Balance Hospitality Booth etc. She has personally build up the trust among vendor, athletes and team members with her competence and commitment to excellence.

Prior to setting up her own massage practice over the last 6 years, Pauline spent 27 years working as a clinic specialist assisting general practitioners caring and handling heartland's customers clinical needs. Her years of experiences as care giver has given her that deep warmth and genuine humanity that will quickly bring you to trust your concerns to her
